What we collect

When you sign up for Illustrious, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Your card details are processed and stored by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. When you fill out our intake form to build your site, we also collect the business information you provide: your agency name, branding details, photography, and any other content you submit.

We collect standard server logs when you visit our website, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We use this data only to maintain and improve the service.

How we use your information

We use your name and email to communicate with you about your subscription, your site build, and service updates. We use your intake form content exclusively to build and maintain your website. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

Third-party service providers

We use a small number of trusted third parties to deliver the service:

• Stripe processes all payments. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
• Resend delivers transactional emails on our behalf.
• Vercel hosts your website and our infrastructure.
• Supabase stores your account and project data on our behalf.

These providers access only the information necessary to perform their specific function. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for 90 days in case you wish to reactivate, then delete it. You can request earlier deletion by contacting us.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and subject to PCI DSS compliance. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, though no system is completely immune to risk.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you by email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance.
